Hansen/Stevens Small Group

The Hansen’s/Steven’s small group loves getting into a vivid discussion surrounding the scripture and sermon for that week. We do this on Sunday evenings starting at 5:00 pm.  We take turns to gather in the homes of the co-leaders. The members of the group also find it important to have a dedicated time of prayer where men and women are separated for specific prayer requests or praise reports. 

 Many members are late boomers, who have the ability to bring unique past perspective into our discussions, noting how timely our opinion and conversations can be from the past through current day. We welcome, however more members at any age!

At the conclusion of our discussions, we enjoy a delicious potluck meal together, where further sharing always occurs. We are in daily contact with each other through a group text thread that has been created for additional communication and sharing. Members of our group have come to expect scripture and related texts to come their way to enhance their day!

Not afraid to serve, our group has enjoyed serving our church and other ministries when called upon to do so. Our members will easily admit that a small group is the best way to become involved, grow in their walk with the Lord, be challenged spiritually, and make great friends with like-minded individuals who simply love having the opportunity to “live life” together.
